Mediatek affirms the usage of Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC in Oppo find X5 smartphone. Mediatek used to reinforce with Oppo to manufacture the powerful chipset in the flagship segment.

Back in November 2021, Mediatek announced the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 flagship high-end chipset. But until now, We don't notice any Smartphones applying this chipset. As a BBK Electronics subsidiary, Oppo reveals to apply the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset in one of their flagships smartphones as well known as Oppo Find X5 Pro. The Oppo Find X5 smartphone is set to launch on February 24, 2022.

Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC specification:

The latest Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset used 4nm architecture with the Core clocked speed of up to 3.05Ghz, three Cortex A710 cores and 4 efficient Cortex A510 clusters clocked.

On the other hand, interestingly this is the first time that the company used two chip-sets in one smartphone which would be available in two models. According to Oppo, they are using Qualcomm 8 Gen 1 chipset as well. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is a flagship chipset announced on December 2021. There is also a couple of smartphones that already used this chipset including OPPO Find X4, Realme GT 2 Pro, Motorola Edge X30.

The Chipset market is evolved as a huge competition day by day. Until now, We have been seen powerful flagship chipsets from chip-maker like Qualcomm and Exynos. On the contrary, to beat Qualcomm, Korean Tech giant Samsung launches the Samsung Exynos 2200 flagship chipset. The Oppo find X5 is the latest flagship smartphone from Oppo. Although, there might be some controversy between the X4 and X5 series. Since Oppo didn't launch the X4 series yet, it is fuzzy whether the company will skip the X4 series anymore. But the Oppo Find X5 is built as a rival of the current flagship segment. There are the Samsung Galaxy S22, Xiaomi 12 and the OnePlus 10 smartphones out there in the market. So far, We've known that OPPO Find X5 will be using Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 1 and Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset as two models of smartphones.
