Within just two years of inception, Symphony achieved the market leader position and since 2011, the brand is holding the title for being the ‘Number 1 handset brand’ in Bangladesh. Even just a few years back, the mobile device industry was mostly driven by Nokia, a few other international players and a huge segment of illegally imported brands.
Competitive pricing strategy, adaptation of cutting-edge innovation and the largest nationwide distribution of over 17,000 outlets have contributed behind the success of Symphony. At the moment, the brand holds 29% of total market share and 23% of the smartphone market share in the country.
But they've struggled in 2020, i know it's was difficult year but we don't see any midrange or budget killer smartphone from this brand their z30 and z30 Pro was the only option to buy.
I think this all happend by growing competitors day by day in tech industry. The China based company also struggled to offer a good specified phone's that why people do go to symphony. Right know their are lots of choices when you buy a new smartphone from Xiaomi and realme brands. Those killed the symphony market. The good configuration and processor make this chines giant smart phone brand. In Bangladesh the Realme take the 4 place within just a few year. Also Xiaomi offer a good deal in midrange and entry level segment. Symphony should be give us a budget a killer midrange phones which can changes their phones industry.
